I see dead people...

There I was, strolling innocently through a high end store when I was confronted by this otherwise lovely clothing display:

See it? Look closer.

Those aren't socks. Nor did the model tie her ankle straps so tightly that she has cut off all of the circulation to her feet. No...this is worse. Shudder.

I have said before that prim feet are a bad idea. This is confirmation of it.

  2. How could ANY photographer who is trying to sell an outfit let this go up in the store?! Because I sure didn't look at the outfit, all I can see are those wrong colored feet!

  3. All the model needed to do was match the color of the feet to her skin tone. That option does come with the shoes. I can't believe no one caught this

  4. It's not that easy, Anonymous. A friend of mine recently got those shoes and was almost in tears because she could NOT get the color to match. Personally, aside from the photoshopped SM ads, I've never seen anyone who has managed to get the color right.

  5. So this is what happens to avatars who's accounts have been abandoned. It there a large cemetery with freshly dug graves?

  6. I have a pair of Moody's, took some time to get the color right, all you can do is get as close as what meets the eye. But even then, once you get on a photo shot stand with all the proper lighting, prims absorb the light differently and everything changes. No different than prim skirt atachments, really. Just takes adjusting.

  7. Prim skirts really shouldn't take a long time to adjust; if someone is really have trouble, a person can easily change the avatar's shape to fit a skirt. However, boucning between skin tones is much more challenging. I own a pair of J's prim feet with sandals (which I got before the SM Bare's came out, thank you) that I *still* haven't gotten down.

Honestly, it's one of the reasons I hate no-mod and those adjustor scripts.

  8. Prim feet are evil. I *still* can't believe people spend that much on those shoes either. Horrible!
