Hidee ho! it is time for my bi-weekly Thursday Happy post. To tell you the truth, I have already gotten a lot of the low hanging fruit out of the way - but this challenges me to really look for the hidden gems in SLife, I think.
I thought I might write about SL weddings as a Thursday Happy. But while I do find them quite enjoyable, I thought I would save writing anything wedding-related until closer to Jerremy's and my first anniversary. (I know! It has almost been a year!)
So, other things that I thought of that makes me happy are ....OODLES OF PRIMS!
Jerremy, who if you recall is a total prim whore, has not quite rubbed off on me completely. He does not even look at prims. Even though we have a good chunk of available prims on our land, I still do things like check prims on furniture and buy the chair with 7 prims over a chair with 9. It is terribly comforting and exciting to me that we have a healthy cushion. It is the same kind of excitement as when I used to get a brand new box of crayons as a child.
Prims represent so much potential. They can be a beautiful sky box. They can be a giant prim feast. They can be spectacular party decorations. Prims can be a fabulous surprise (to me) interactive art installation like the one in these pictures of our explorations of Black Swan. And we have the magical powers to transform them ourselves.
That is why, to me, a simple prim cube represents the beauty of our Second Lives - we can be and do nearly anything we imagine with a little effort.

Prims used to scare me. Either not enough, too much and then MODIFY. Now I love them and would like to marry one.
Great post!
