Taken for a ride...

My husband, Jerremy, and I took a break from our party preparations last night and went on The World's Greatest Halloween Ride. It was only supposed to be a 15 minute ride but there were tons of people there -  so it took at least 30 minutes.

This cut into our kissing time and we would have probably tried to leave and come back another time -- but there were all of these dire warning about NOT STANDING UP because you would become stuck inside. I don't know if getting stuck is even possible. But we were well behaved and kept our hands and feet inside the ride at all times. (I did see one girl walking around inside  - and I assume that she is still wandering there and will never be seen or heard from again. So if you go, take her a drink and a sandwich, please.)

Jerremy was awesome and took the pictures here. This is just a teeny tiny sample of what you can see inside.

This is me gazing at my handsome husband as we pass a lovely fall scene - not knowing of the horrors we will soon witness! Also, if I had known he was going to take pics, I would have worn a different shirt.

This is us trying valiantly to hold our breathe as we made our way slooooooooooowly  through the underwater portion of the ride. We saw lots of cool things to try when we have our aquarium themed party... sometime. (This happens to us a lot. We come up with party themes and have no occasion for them. So if, say, we invite you to a Seventh Inning Stretch themed party to celebrate World Blood Donor Day, just go with it.)

This is the Jurasic Park-themed portion of the event -- except for copyright reasons we should call it the Reanimated Dinosaurs Gone Wild area. We appear very calm in this picture, despite the carnage and the very irate creature headed right for us. Jerremy is admiring the landscaping.

This is the ghost of Grandma Linden - I am just sure of it. The way she just sat there smiling to herself as we lagged past? Family trait. I appear to be distracted by something shiny. Doesn't the dizzy girl always get killed in horror films? I need to start paying more attention.

Because at the very least, the dizzy girl, always gets taken for a ride.

Ohhhhhhh! So THAT'S what it looked like!!!

LOLOL -- take a look at the pictures of the ride on my current post.

In fact, let me see if it'll let me paste one of them here:

. . . nope.

But my picture of that car, which is not on my blog, is so damn hilarious compared to yours. :)
