Catch of the Day

I have never played 7 Seas fishing or fished in the Linden oceans (which I am doing in this picture) so I have no idea what I can catch in SL. It turns out that I had no idea what I could catch with RL fishing either.

I took my 5 year old niece fishing today in RL. It was just a pond in a park with a homemade fishing rod. We used a cut up turkey hot dog as bait. She kept telling me that she wanted to catch a crawfish. I sort of dismissed her insistence that there was anything living in the teeny, tiny, filthy pond to her imagination. But then, she pulled the rod up from the water and hanging from the end was what looked like an angry lobster. Of course, I screamed, grabbed the rod and tried to shake it loose. It was bigger than any crawfish I have ever seen in my life. I got called a scaredy cat all the way home. But, at least I was able to convince her that we couldn't take it home and eat it.
