Iowa - SLife Changing

I'm in Iowa. (Per Wikipedia, the state slogan is "Life changing.") But I am SL-less.

My personal lap top is in the repair shop. I only have my work laptop until I get home from this business trip and of course I can't download SL onto a work PC. This means that I can't get in-world to do anything or to take pictures.  And sadly, I can't get in-world to go to the Blogger Spoken Word event tonight, either.

I am having SL withdrawal tonight. (Well, mostly Jerremy withdrawal.) The closest I can get is talking with SL peeps on Plurk. (Add me!) 

It's an evening of awful chicken wings at the fanciest restaurant in town and Comedy Central. This is frighteningly close to what my life would be like without SL. *shudder*
