Stirring from my lucid dream.

I'm ending this blog.

It wasn't an easy decision because this blog has been sort of a security blanket for me. It gave me a focus for my in-world activities and was such a huge part of my identity in-world. But, it's time. I simply don't have as much time to blog as I used to.

I'm not leaving Second Life, though! (So, please say hi sometime.) I am still happily married to Jerremy! And, I'll be blogging for the 2011 Shoe Fair (May 14-27)!

Maybe after a while I'll get the itch to start a fresh blog or re-open this one. Who knows? Who knew when I started this (terribly named) one on September 14th, 2007. that I would end up doing 752 posts

To those of you who read this blog, THANK YOU! Thank you for your comments throughout the years and for giving me ideas and for sharing your thoughts! I will miss you most of all!

Until I write again,
Tymmerie

  7. That's too bad, Tym, but I understand how hard it can be to publish regularly, especially daily. I really appreciate all you've done, entertaining us for so long! A job very well done.

  9. I will greatly miss your blog. It was funny and creative and I loved your perspective on all things SL. If it were not for your blog I might never have met you! At least I do have that consolation though. Your blog may be going away, but I still have you!

  10. Oh my, Tymmerie. No, we weren't well connected, not even NBF, but I know you and you know me. And I was a little late to your blog and just getting to know you. I like what you do and try to do, Tymmerie. And yeah, these blogs are security blankets but they are also great sources of information about you second life and all the unbeleiveable things you've done.

Having said all that, I've come close several to dropping my blog too. It was usually when I felt unappreciated because my readers are hard case, they tell me they read my stuff when i see them in world, but never comment. Someone once said, comments are the life blood of bloggers. So, I've been there and also when the futility of SL hits me.

But here's the thing, it's a discipline to stick with it. I can't say blogging makes you a better writer but it gives is an outlet. Please don't say good bye to you blog, give it a facelift or some botox injectsions or buy it some new lingerie. hehehe

Regardless of what you decide, best wishes for all that you do.

    Hugs, Yordie Sands
