What are you going to be for Halloween? I waited too long to decide on my RL Halloween costume and now I am stuck paying a rush fee for one of the items I need for it.
In SL, where I never have to pay rush fees, I started shopping for a costume at one of my absolute favorite places, A Touch of Ireland. I adore ATOI's holiday outfits and decorative things! When I saw the above pictured bit of Autumn decor, I had to share it with you. Also, in one of the costume areas you can get a FREE couple's costume - that kind of goes with this item, actually, in a very troubling way. I'll be honest: I left the FREE couple's costume right there in the store, but it might be right up your alley. (If you have trouble finding it, IM or email me and I'll help.)
In Real Life, I'm putting together a Toddlers & Tiaras Pageant Mom costume -- complete with every awful crazed, inappropriate, stage mom cliche that I can think of. Think cigarette hanging from mouth, evidence of trying to live vicariously through my child (to be played by one of my niece's dolls), doll sized stripper tassels and a little something from the Kardashian Kollection.*
I might try to replicate my RL costume in SL. Wait. I *will* replicate it in SL. It'll give me something to do when Jerremy isn't in world.
*I am so kidding - I would never give those horrid women any of my money.
